After graduating from Elon University with a bachelor's degree in journalism, she worked for three years as a Digital Content Producer/Lead Digital Producer for WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was nominated for two Emmy Awards for her digital contribution to story coverage. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue entertainment news at THR.
